Some research shows that there is a feature called "auto sum" which in one click will add up the values of all cells in a row or column but I am not seeing that option in my spreadsheet [Office 2010]. Anyway, please see attached image, this will show exactly what I am trying to accomplish, thanks.

In an empty cell type in =SUM(
Then select the cells you want to sum with the mouse. Then finish the formula with ) and press enter. You should end up with a formula like this: =SUM(C1:C10) Where C1:C10 is a reference to the range you want to sum. |

Thanks, I have seen those instructions on the net but what I am trying to work is the "Auto sum" one click feature, I had done this a few months back and simply forgot how I did it.

The autosum button is on the left hand side of the Formulas tab of the ribbon.

There we go, so very easy, I highlighted all cells and hit the sum button and that did it, thank you very much!
