2007 has infected 2003
OK guys, I find myself in rather a tricky situation. I've created a spreadsheet using Excel 2007 and then saved it as a 2003 file so that my father-in-law can take a look at it; he doesn't use 2007, in fact he refuses to upgrade.
And this is where the problem lies as it seems that my file (even though it should have saved as a 2003 file) has somehow corrupted his Excel 2003. He has some spreadsheets of his own that he was working on, but since saving my file, he's lost some of the functionality he had in his spreadsheets. Is anyone aware of similar things happening when trying to use 2007 files in Office 2003? Better still, does anyone have any ideas of what he can do to get his system back to normal? Any help on this would be much appreciated as I'm now in desperate need of scoring some brownie points with him. Cheers!! |
