Does 'Save as Unicode text' equal UTF-8
HI All
Excuse my ignorance here. I have to save my worksheet in UTF-8 format. Does anyone know how to do this? I see in the Save As options that 'Unicode Text' is mentioned. Is this UTF-8 , I wonder? Gratfeul for any advice. I'm using Excel 2003. Best Wishes Colin |

Hi,
Save As Unicode Text saves it as a text file in UTF-16 Little Endian. To manually convert into UTF-8 format you can then open the text file with notepad and then go File > SaveAs and change the encoding to UTF-8. |
