possible formula instead of marco or VB?
I have 2 spreadsheets and want to compare values to a predetermined number and then copy certain cells into another worksheet. I do not know which formula to use to get this accomplished the easiest way.
Example: I have 41 groups that are broken down into 23 cells per group. Group A has 23 rows of info, group B has 23 rows of info and so on. I want to match the input of a cell that will be A, B C etc to one of the groups and then check to see if each cell in that group is full. If there is a blank, I need to copy extra info from the input row to the 2nd spread sheet in that group. Does this make sense? Can anyone help? Devin |

Hi Devin,
Formulae can only fill the cells they're in - not another cell. So, unless you put an appropriate formula in each of your blank cells, you'll not be able to achieve your goal without vba.
