Default I don't want to print the Number colume

I'm using Office 2010 with Windows 7 - I did a print preview and excel want to print the number colume. I've never seen this before because I just want columes A, B, and C but not the number colume so how can I get rid of the number colume for print.

Hi,

Go to Excel Options, Formulas and untick R1C1 reference style in the Working with formulas section.

Go to Excel Options
There aren't any Option tabs

Formulas and untick R1C1 reference style in the Working with formulas section
Under the Formula tab I can't find R1C1

could you please tell me in more detail?

Near the top left hand corner you should see a green File tab. When you click on it, it should open the back stage view. On the left hand side of the back stage view you should be able to find Options. You should be able to follow the previous instructions from there. Let me know if it is still difficult to follow and I'll post some screenshots to help you.

I did this but I still have a print preview of the number colume. The R1C1 was already uncheck but to make sure I check it and shut down and uncheck and shut down and I still have a print preview of the number colume.

I did find out how to solve this problems:
Go to "Print->Page Setup->Sheet" in Excel and see if the checkbox for "Row and Column Headings" is checked.

I misunderstood your question. I thought you wanted to print column letters (A,B,C etc...) instead of column numbers (1,2,3 etc...). Glad you got it sorted.
