Date problem in excel 2007

I don't no if it is possible to convert numbers into a date, when i download a file from a tester it comes in a .csv file and when opened in excel the date is shown as 20120605 which is yyyymmdd but would like it to show dd/mm/yyyy

Hi,

Try this...

Select the column > Data > Text to Columns
Next
Next
In the column data format choose Date YMD
Finish
