Default EXCEL tries to close a file

hello!

I often open an xls, then I open another one


I close the second, but EXCEL tries to close the first one too!

how do I stop this?

Hi,

It sounds like you're closing the whole Excel application, not just the second workbook. What actions do you perform to try to close it? You need to be careful that you click on the X on the workbook level window, not the red X on the application level window.

I didnt notice that

is there a way to load different workbooks inside the same window?
