How to receive an error if values exceed budget
Hi,
I am not new to excel but I am not professional either, I am working on a budget plan and what I am trying to do is that e-g I have budget of 100,000 and then later we spend 30,000 out of it. So as it has a formula applied it will automatically show that 70,000 is left but later if we try to payout 80,000 still the sheet won't give error that I am exceeding the limit. So I was thinking what kind of function could be applied to it in what manner so that if I am exceeding my limits it warns me that you don't have that much in budget (I am not expecting it giving me long message a error written or False will work for me). |

Try using conditional formatting using =A1<0 as condition
