Default Dividing by 100!



Every figure I enter in any MS Excel 2007 cell, is divided by 100! e.g. 500 is displayed and stored as 5! I reinstalled the package but the problem persisted!

That is weird, I'll ask the obvious first, did you run a reg clean before reinstalling?

Default Dividing by a 100 fix
In Options
  • Version 2003 - Tools >> Options >> Edit >> Untick Fixed decimals
  • Version 2007 - Office Button >> Excel Options >> Advanced >> Untick Automatically insert a decimal Point
That should fix the problem
