Exclamation "! Cannot download the Information you requested"

Hi!



I have an excel sheet with lot of Web address with hyperlink in a column.
And i need to access the web page on a click and it was working fine.

donno what happened:

now when i try to access web pages, it gives a msg: "! Cannot download the Information you requested"

i tried reinstalling my MS office 2007. what was of no use!

can you help me out!

If the problem relates to downloading the file from the web site you're opening, it could be because the:
◦ filename or path is no longer valid; and/or
◦ the file is being used by another program.
Alternatively, it could be due to a change in your IE security settings. See under IE> Tools>Internet Options>Advanced> Security. Resetting the Advanced Settings may resolve the problem.

Default Sorry!

When i copy and paste it to a browser it works.... only thing is the hyperlink does now work.

and it not just with IE any browser...... is it something related to cache?

Have you tried using the same Excel links on another PC? If it works there, then it's probably either a fault or a configuration issue in your system. If it doesn't work, then it's probably either a fault in the workbook or a restriction in the way the website is accessed.

as i mentioned. b4 it was working fine. i cant access the links which i accessed with hyperlinks b4. i mean last day...... here lies the prob....

Go to internet explorer, and , from the file menu, uncheck-Work Offline, this will solve the problem with your links...even with other browsers
