Startup with blank workbook
I recently upgraded to Office 2010. All of a sudden today when I open Excel, it doesn't startup with a blank workbook. I have to go over to the File menu and invoke "create new".
Does anyone know how I screwed up my configuration and how I can get back to opening a blank workbook when I startup Excel? Thanks. Norm. |

I tried creating a blank template (both xlt and xltm versions) and putting it in the XLSTART folder, but found out that that Excel won't pick up templates from that folder. It will only pick up workbooks (either xls, xlsx or xlsb).
