Excel 2007 Encryption Not Available

I want to protect a workbook - Office 2007 - and Encrypt Document is not available from the Prepare menu. Where can I turn this on?

What happend was that I first used the Protect and Share Workbook function and hadn't turned it off. This put the workbook in Shared mode and the encryption function then is not available. Once I turned this off I was able to set the workbook to open with a password using the encryption mode.

Thanks for your post MarvinP but it looks like I didnt explain the problem sufficently.
