Question protect and unprotect in shared excel

protect and unprotect in shared excel

ok hey guys last question for my workbook im trying to get going

i have built in a macro repair fuction, to repair dodgy formulas in our LOS AND DTD colums, with a unprotect and protect module built into it

but when i share i cant use it because of the imposibility of unprotecting a sheet while in shared mode....

all users who use the sheet have to be unable to touch these colums because of the problems they cause by fiddling with it, but i need the macro to be able to access it to fix the problems.....

some users need to be able to edit one part and other users a different part....

if there is anyway to do this it would be great someone could fill me in

i know alot of the macros are very messy if anyone knows how to clean them up that would also be awesome
