Naming a cell then linking with a certain amount of charachters looses content.
Here's one for you Excel guru's... If you create a spreadhseet and then name a cell FatherChristmas(or what ever you like) and then link that cell within document properties - custom. If you go over a certain amount of characters the cell looses the content youve put in and replaces it with the cell name.
Any ideas why this is? Thanks |

Hi shabbaranks,
I suspect this is by design - the same happens in Excel 2003 & Excel 2010. Although I haven't tested it, you'll probably find it occurs when you hit, say, 256 or 1024 characters.
