Hi I have a spreadsheet with 12 cells (months of the year) the interest rate is 5.35% with a balance of say £5000 I am trying to display the interest in each cell ,it would be different for each month due to the amount of days in the month would I have to write a formula for each cell or is there any way that a formula might know how many days there are in each month.
hope this makes sense it's not compound interest it's just straight forward interest per month. many thanks bjj |

Here is a formula for the number of days in a month. Use this to calculate your monthly interest. =EOMONTH(B1,0)-B1+1
