Default Resetting defaults for folder using VBA

I am using Windows 10 and need to reset a large number of Picture folders to their default properties using VBA in Excel. I need this to get the Thumbnails back for Large Icon view.

See attachment for what I mean when using properties for the folder.

Selecting all the sub-folders and then resetting all of them in one go does not seem to work - only the last one is reset. No other method works, so I assume there are bugs in this area.

Can this be done using VBA? Have not found any solution so far on the internet.

Its a curious problem which seemed to start when using OneDrive for my Pictures folder. If I go into the Pictures folders and set View to Extra Large Icons, all the thumbnails are there and persist. Changing to Large Icons and they are there, but coming out and going back in again and all the thumbnails are gone, replaced by Icons. The only way to get the thumbnails to persist with Large Icons, is to manually reset to the Default every single sub-folder - there are hundreds.
