Exists function for Collections as for Dictionary objects
Long ago I chafed over the lack of an Exists method in VBA for collections. The Dictionary object has that method and it's very useful; it seems reasonable to me that there should be one for collections too. But apparently not.
So I've written an Exists function, and I'm pretty happy with it. But it occurred to me this evening to wonder whether I'm doing things the hard way. I can't be the only person who came up with a way to ask "Does such-and-such a collection have such-and-such a member?". What are the solution(s) y'all have come up with? Maybe you have something I should try out. (I'm perfectly willing to share my solution, too, if anyone's interested. I'm not assuming anyone is, though :-).) |
