Default Moving columns Automatically with Frozen Panes

name | dated columns incrementally increasing->
---------------------------------------------------------------------
name 1 |
name 2 |
name 3 |

name 4 |

the name column is a frozen pane column and the dated columns can move left or right depending on which date ( Row A ) you want to view for the information the table holds per person in column 1.

when I open the spreadsheet, is there a way I can use today's date and search for today's date in Row A, then make the table automatically slide left or right to make the selected column the first column after the frozen pane?

See the attached file.
Open it and allow macros, then move to Sheet1 (it was saved with Sheet2 being the active sheet). It will try to scroll the current date to be at the left. This does not change the selected cell, that may be off screen; this behaviour can be changed if you want.

The macro only runs on the file being opened. It could instead/as well, act every time you switch to that sheet; there is commented-out code to do that in Sheet1's code-module. You just have to enable it.
