Default Import Mail Content into Excel - With Attachment Button!

Hi all,

Hope you are doing great today!

I have a challenge, I haven't found the solution for. Hope you can help!

Basically, I just would like to import mails from a specific outlook-folder into an excel file:

- Import should include Time, Sender and the text, obviously.

- Furthermore, I would like to attach the whole mail to an icon (see attached file).
I will need that for a following step, where I extract certain data from the text. In case the information cant be found automatically, I would like to look it up, by simply clicking on the button.

- At last, a clearing code would be pretty helpful, which is added in the beginning, in order to delete old "import data".

I attached a dummy sheet, with the start of my code. I will be honest, I have no idea why it is not working.

Hope that anyone can help on this challenge )

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks a lot in advance,
Piet

I don't see the purpose of the shape/icon.

It looks like you would want an Import and Clear macros. Those can be called in command button controls or shapes.

The main issue with your code is that you did not define range names. I guess those would be the column heading cells.

You also need to add the Outlook object in VBEs Tools > References.
