Question Office Online - Excel Add-Ins - Support for Shapes collection

Hello,
We have an VSTO Add-in that allows users to create workflows in Excel.
We rely on Office.CommandBars.OnUpdate event to collect Shapes information and produce "Shape Events".

So far I see two challenges migrating to Office Add-in.

1. I don't see how I would plug in to the CommandBars event.
2. Even if I am able to subscribe to CommandBars events or something similar; It looks like Excel online still does not offer a Shapes collection.

Can anyone confirm my findings so far?

Thanks,
Ramon Aldana
