Default Insert drop down calendar

Hello, could you help me create a code to enable a drop down calendar in column A for each cell?
I like the option of having the drop down arrows much like the data validations.
I tried using a date picker add-on but it will only allow me to use the function and not others.
Thank you!
Steve

Can you show an example as to what you mean by drop down calendar if it's not data validation ?

Hi there, all I'm looking for is a pop up small calendar like this image here for the user to be able to click on the cell in this column and for the calendar to popup to choose a date. Something simple. But the date picker won't all other users to use the add-on i have. Hope this makes sense.

Maybe this will be of use... it's the simplest I can find.
Completely contained in a single user form.
I have no idea who to credit for this.
