Hey guys, so I have a main file that I will be needing to import information to. I get new secondary files regularly. These new files contain new information about already existing ID numbers. Both files have an ID number that I need to match up. A short example is given below, hopefully this will clarify:
Workbook A: ID__________ Detail A____ Detail B ____Detail C 1702_012 ____blah___ ____blah_______ blah 1702_013 _____--- _______random _____ blah 1702_014 _____..._______ &234_______ Kasaw 1710_147 _____hmm____- fki-_________ eev 1710_148 _____hey ______sup _________fam 1726_034 _____??:______ sdf___________ sij Workbook B: ID ________________________Detail F_________ Detail G ______Detail H 07-0002_012_29012_AW ______aqdq ____________239dfe______ 56456 07-0002_013_99023_TE ______wewe ____________1230_________ Jet 07-0002_014_57489_PO ______fuel2122221222222 cant_________ melt 08-0010_147_28004_DC ______deez____________ nuts__________ ha 08-0010_148_45367_MG ______got____________ heem__________ thx 50-0026_034_95184_LZ ______4da_____________ help___________ <3 Workbook A would be my main workbook. @Camj
Thank you! I found that article yesterday but I wasn't sure how to implement that and then use it to move the information over. Any help with syntax perhaps? I really appreciate the help! |
