Default Function not available from personal.xlsb

Hi there

when I create a public function and define it in a module within a spreadsheet.xlsm I can access it as a formula from within that spreadsheet.
However if I move that same function to the personal.xlsb spreadsheet then it is no longer accessible. I have many macros defined in personal.xlsb which are available to me from any spreadsheet I open.
How can i make functions defined in persnal.xlsb available to any spreadsheet I open?

Many thanks for any reply

You need to prefix the function call with the workbook name:
=Personal.xlsb!function_name()
