Inserting Calendar Control Active X Controls on Worksheet
In an Excel worksheet, on the Developer tab, the 'Insert Controls' icon displays a short list of ActiveX Controls, along with a 'Wrench and Hammer' symbol that displays additional controls. I'm wondering where this list of additional controls comes from.
I use two separate computers at my job. Machine A was purchased in 2011, Machine B in 2013. Both run Office 2010, installed by our IT department. I have used Microsoft's Calendar Control extensively over the years. I have migrated it to both machines - in the Programs Files (x86) > Microsoft Office > Office11 folder I have the four 'MSCAL' objects. On the VBA screen under Tools > References for VBA Projects, I have selected Microsoft Calendar Control 11.0 as a Reference to be used. All of this is exactly the same on both machines. On a worksheet, I select the ActiveX Controls, and then the More Controls option. On Machine B, it shows 'Calendar Control 11.0' as one of the options. On Machine A, it does not. Machine A does have a few options that Machine B does not show, but other than Calendar Control 11.0, I don't find that Machine B has any other options that Machine A does not have. Any opinions on why Machine A will not let me use the Calendar Control feature? |
