I want to make an Excel spreadsheet with check boxes for a few different items (ie. RED, BLUE, YELLOW). So when a user "checks' the appropriate box the VLOOKUP function will only look at the data array for that specific item? Maybe the VLOOKUP function is not the correct way to go about this operation. Any help is appreciated!

Thank you ufopilot.....that is a huge help! I have never used the HLOOKUP formula before. The check boxes are also completely new to me but they offer a lot more flexibility to what I want to do. I appreciate you taking the time to respond!
