Default Excel Look for Value from one cell in another

Hi



I am trying to find a number from one Column in some text which is in another Column.

So I am looking for the Year of construction (G) in the Note (B)

I have tried a few Vlookups but am getting no where

All help welcome

You haven't presented any data for us to know what you're actually working with.
I'd guess you need to look into the INSTR function.
