Excel to exe
Hello everyone....
I have 9 sheets that get some data from a website when I hit a button with some very simple vba code.... What I'm trying to do is to create an executable file to do this automatically.... I have a service that my clients receive the information by mail, but I want that they run this .exe and get this information when they want.... Another 2 things. I don't want that they access the code and this .exe needs to have some limitations (by time, keys passwords or anything else).... I already found some compilers, but they are very expensive.... Do you know any free or cheap compiler??? Or another way to do what I want??? Thank you very much for any help you can give..... |

I suggest you do a web search for 'Excel compiler'. Nothing worthwhile is likely to be cheap, let alone free.
You might do better to write a purpose-built app in VB.Net or another programming language of your choice, then compile and distribute that.

OK.... I already found a free compiler (XLtoEXE).... The only thing is that canīt hide the formulas..... But if we want to see the VBA code, the EXE file shut down......
The EXE that Iīm thinking is more complex. But I guess is a good one for personal use...... |
