Question UDF multiple IFs INDEX-MATCH

So I used the INDEX(MATCH) function with some success but I'm faced with a scenario where one of the referenced cells() in table A, may not be found in the target datarange(table B), in which case instead of return a #N/A, I want to set an alternative to that referenced cell. The other issue is the data that I'm retrieving from the target column of the target range will either have a value or a formula which needs to be selected and applied in the active cell(this formula will return a value based on the referenced cell to my active cell in table A.)

Hopefully that makes some sense. I'm looking to create a UDF that will handle this. I'm thinking the UDF will require inputs of: two referenced cells, the datarange I'm looking into, and column in that range where my desired data or formula is found. Any help would be appreciated!
