Highlight row/column - except for first row
I am trying to write a VBA script that will highlight the row and column when I select a cell.
There is a script in the Excel forum that will do this. I am trying to modify this script so that it does not change the formatting in the first row. Highlight the row and column (except for first row). Is this possible? I appreciate any help. Thank-you. Regards, Roger |

Roger, there was a thread just last week about a program to highlight a row when the Selection changes; I think it was a pretty simple Worksheet_Change subroutine. If that's what you're using, then all you need is a statement at the beginning that if the target is in the first row or column, the program should end immediately rather than continue. What does your program code look like now?
