excel 2002, how to use a macro to find a field and add a date to the end of the row
Help needed here in any way as im quite stuck!
I have a customer base that i want to contact every couple of months and record when i do. this is always being added to too. my plan was to use an INDEX to show the people to contact that week, then i wanted to update those rows only with todays date when i contacted them without going back to my data sheet and try and find all the fields are... and i want to add the date to "contact letter1", then next time "letter 2" etc Surname Flat number Building name Number Street Town County Post code contact Letter 1 contact Letter 2 contact Letter 3 contact Letter 4 i hope that makes sence, any other idea on how to do this would be great. thanks in advance. Hi Jeff,
It would be helpful if you could attach a workbook with some sample data to a post, so we can see what we're dealing with. You can do that via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab.
