* Exporting Access Data to Excel
Hello Everyone,
Thank you for your help! I'm using the following code in Access to export data to Excel. It works fine but each time I export, it creates a new Tab in the Excel spreadsheet. Is there anyway to specify the name of the tab I want to export to and use the same tab every time? Code:
DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel9, _ "tblAdvancedPricing", outputFileName, True, "AdvancedPricing" I would really appreciate your assistance! |

Hi djreyrey,
The answer is: Microsoft Access copies the exported data to the next available new worksheet in the workbook. Found at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ffice.10).aspx This means you can't overwrite an old worksheet with the new data. You can rename or delete the old and rename the new worksheet. |
