Help with pivot table macro
Hello All,
I created a pivot table from the data on sheet titled RawData however, there are some modifications i will like made on the pivot table: Please find attached the sample data for further clarifications. 1) The sheet titled rawdata contains the data from which pivot chart is created. 2) The sheet titled "Pivot Chart gotten from macro" is the pivot chart gotten after the macro runs. 3) the sheet titled "expected outcome" is the pivot chart done without using a macro, this is the outline which we want to get when we run the macro for the pivot chart. I need assistance with modifying the macro foso that i can get the pivot chart displayed in the format represented in the sheet "expected outcome" and also ensuring user input is requested for the pivot table's sheet i.e the sheet is named after whatever user input is fed before the pivot table is created. The macro is attached in text format and the excel document is in the zipped folder. Thank you. |

Have you ever thought that you can build the pivot table in this very design permanently and keep it hidden and refresh it by a macro according to the new rawdata and make it visible again? This way you wouldn't have to make up a new pivot table by macro everytime an input happens.
If it's ok for you, it's very easy to direct users to give a name to the sheet by the inputbox function. |
