I am trying to find a way to create PDF using Word 2010's built-in PDF creator while the photos are not compressed. By default it compressed all the photos and lower the resolution to 220 dpi that is too low.
I appreciate if anyone lets me know if there is any way to do this or not. |

Hi box4it,
Try disabling image compression when you insert the images. You can do this from the Ribbon's 'Picture Tools' tab while an image is selected. Doing it after the document has been saved with the images concerned is too late, though, as they will already have been compressed.

Hi Paul,
I have already tried that, with no luck! The problem is that when I create a pdf with a third-part pdf printer, the pdf is great with high quality pictures, but they are not able to create tagged pdfs. When I use the built-in one, the pdf is perfectly tagged, but the pictures are low quality. I explained this to show that the pictures are not compressed in my documents and that's the built-in pdf creator that compresses them badly. any other suggestion? |

Hi box4it,
In that case, you might need to use a more professional pdf-production application like Adobe Acrobat Pro. Its Word plugin can do both tagging and high-res (up to 4000dpi) graphics.

Yes, that's right! Adobe and to some extend Nitro are the only options that do both tagging and high res picture in pdf files and I am aware of them. But I was wondering if there is any setting or option that makes me able to do this without using any third-party add-in.
Thanks anyway! |

Hi box4it,
I think the short answer is no. The long answer amounts to the same thing ...
