How do I eliminate the fine white horizontal lines in jpeg or tif photos that appear in my Word documents? They do not appear in Word 2000 but do appear in Word 2003 or Word 2007. I have used three computers with either Windows XP or Windows 7 and the same occurs.

Hi dkitain,
Do these lines appear in the print but not on screen, on-screen but not on the print, or both. Are these the same documents and pictures on all 3 PCs? Have you viewed/printed the pictures on a PC that has two or more of Word 2000, 2003 and 2007 installed?

This problem was driving me crazy until I found that place a space in front of an image created the line.
Deleted the spaces, lines were gone It was hard to see the spaces, even with the markup visible, but they were there. |
