So, I created a line using the graphic/drawing tool, but I want it to have a curved edge, not be fully rectangular ( more like a rectangle with two round edges). How would I do that?

Hi skrr,
Word's autoshape tools include curved lines and rounded rectangles. It's best to use one that suits your end needs from the outset, rather than trying to modify a different shape after the event. If you use the curved-line tool, you can get a line that closely matches whatever shape you require.
