Default Place data labels of a series outside end at the bottom

Hi. I have a chart with 2 data series, budget and expenditure. I would like the data labels of the expenditure to be placed at the outside bottom of the chart. There is no option like this in formatting of data labels. Any idea on how the labels could be presented at the outside bottom? Thank you.

You really don't have enough space for those labels. The titles on each column are already in the position where you want to move the labels so the only space left is when you already have them. Really there isn't enough space for the amount of data you are trying to show.

I think you have a few choices:
1. Make it a Bar chart (horizontal bars) so the text doesn't need rotation and the bars will be longer so the labels on yellow could fit inside the yellow area
2. Merge the smallest values (eg MPDO or smaller) into an 'Others' group so the columns can be wider and you have more space to put text labels
2A. Increase the width of the columns (reducing space between them) to make more space for labels.
3. Drop the text labels from the Expenditures
4. Labels can be moved individually. Click on each one and drag it to where you want it.

Thank for these alternatives. I haven't thought of the bar chart. I tried it and the chart is visually better than the columnar chart.
