Default How can I replace an image with another image on click or mouseover?

I'm trying to create a document where either clicking on or hovering over an image will make it display a different image. How can I accomplish this?

Thank you, is there a way to do it without macros? They are disabled at my job, and even if I enabled them on my specific computer, my document will be shared by numerous people within the company and I don't think that as an intern I will have the necessary pull to make that change across the board.

It used to be that you could do this with a macrobutton but MS removed this functionality with the docx format. I do not know of any way to do it in .docx.

See:

Would a Picture Content Control work for you? You would have to give some direction on how to use it and there is no mouse-over text to do that. You could change the title, though, and that might help.

Even the MACROBUTTON field required a supporting macro. See post #2 in the linked thread.

As for Picture Content Controls, they too require macros to make this work. See post #12 in the linked thread.

I appreciate the help, we may just have to deal with a bunch of constantly looping GIFs in the document. Intern-level work! Maybe someone will be annoyed enough by it to figure out a fix. Thanks again!
