Moving images around - Fixing furniture on a Word page
Hi all, I'm working on some documents each of which have their own title page containing a logo at the top, a title in the centre and a table at the bottom (see attached screenshot). The customer buys dozens of documents, each with very similar cover pages, and we've created an app which allows them to replace the logo with their own - it converts all the logos in all the documents at the same time replacing what's there with their own. The only issue is that, when the logo is replaced, the title and table are moved down the page. I've tried using the title in a text box, which stays where it is when the logo is changed (customer logos could be larger or smaller), but the table moves about, sometimes on to the next page. I wondered about putting that in a text box, but then the fields (date and version number) don't link to the footers. Is there anything I can do? I'm not sure if some kind of break(s) are required? Any help gratefully received! Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 01-03-2020 at 02:24 PM. Reason: repair title |

Start there. The logo should be in the Header. Look at some of the cover pages that are built into Word for samples.

I'm afraid the app we've had developed doesn't replace the logo if it's in the header. Thanks for your reply but could there be another way around this so that the table and title stay where they are, but we can replace the logo - including with logos which are larger and maybe even square or portrait. |
