Hi all,
I've just created a few flowcharts in Word. They have those lovely arrows whereby, if you move any of the flowchart shapes around, the arrows move around with them (see attached). However, when it comes to copying and pasting a chart from this document into another Word document, the arrows lose their dynamic thang - they just stay where they are when shapes are moved. Any ideas? |

PS Should have mentioned, the shapes and arrows have been created using "shapes" - these are on a drawing canvas.

When you copy the flowchart, you need to select the overall object not the individual shapes inside the shape holder. I try to select the outside edge before I copy these types of shapes.
I assume you aren't pasting into .doc files.

I copied the canvas to another file and the dynamic connectors still work in both docs. I don't know why it isn't working on your machine

Thanks. It appears to be hit and miss. Sometimes it works fine, others nada.
