Question Non-Printing Graphics vs Printing

I need to set up a word document as a letterhead template where one document will print placed graphics, including the background, header and footer. I need an identical document that has graphics in place, but will NOT print them. For use on pre-printed letterhead.

I'm on a mac with Office 2007. I have discovered that by going the preferences, I can check whether I want to print drawn objects or not, but I'm looking to see if there is a way to NOT go into preferences and just set one document to print them, and the other to not. Any help is appreciated.
