Default Placing text in a diagram

I want to place some text into a diagram. When I do so using a text box all the diagram on the right side of the text box disappears. What am I doing wrong?

Without actually seeing the relevant part of the problem document, it can be difficult for anyone to diagnose the issue. Can you attach that part of the document to a post (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

I don't know how to do what you suggest. I have loaded a diagram of a basketball court into a word document. I want to insert in the diagram the player positions. When I insert POINT in the diagram using a text box, that works but the whole right hand side of the diagram disappears. I have reduced the size of the text box to only hold the word.

Attaching a document to a post is no more difficult than doing as I suggested. Many others have done so using the same instructions...

Clearly many others are more computer literate than me. I have described clearly what my problem is and a diagram would not make it any clearer. You obviously don't know how to help me otherwise you would have done so.

Keep up that attitude and you'll find no-one willing to help. Clearly, you also don't want help enough to bother...
