Word 2010 How to ensure 300 DPI for photos
For self-publishing project need to be able to upload color photos with my book at min. 300 DPI. However, Word seems to limit photos to 200 DPI, no matter what their resolution is in the original.

You can turn Word's image compression off. That will result in the images having whatever dpi you inserted them at.

Thank you! I was even able to figure out where to go behind the scenes to make that change (my big, thick manual doesn't say a word about this).
