Yes so I have tried everything, every margin, grid snaping, aligning and the picture still jumps on my second page when I come to it. It just wont stay on top of the first page and be still!

Please if yomeone knows the solution I am really frustrated about now.

Can you upload the document, or the page that is a problem?

post the document so we can have a look at it but.

What you might do is to display all non printing characters (CTRL + 8) or use icon on the toolbar menu.

The problem might be that you have too many paragraph marks (enters) before the picture and therefore despite it seems that there is enough space there is not. So you want to check it out.
