Hi everyone, i have an issue with word 2010
I have a document with pictures, texts, ... but when i print it some parts are missing (some graphics, some textes,...) If i use the preview, everything is correctly showed If i save into a pdf file (with the built-in function of word), everything is correctly "exported" If i copy/paste the whole document into a new one, the missing part into the printed document are not pasted (so i think it is not a printer driver issue) These test have been done on two computers with word 2010 and Win7 (32 and 64 bits) Anyone has a suggestion? Thank you |

First have a look at http://wordfaqs.mvps.org/InvisibleGraphics.htm. You may also want to read http://wordfaqs.mvps.org/RedX.htm.

It's possible the affected document has acquired some of corruption. Corrupt documents can often be 'repaired' by inserting a new, empty, paragraph at the very end, copying everything except that new paragraph to a new document based on the same template (headers & footers may need to be copied separately), closing the old document and saving the new one over it.

It does not work
Some parts are not pasted. But if i copy/paste some missing parts by missing parts, it works but is it not convenient due to the number of pages. |

That suggests they weren't copied, or that there is something else about the document content you haven't told us.

I cannot download or open your file - the Windows SmartScreen filter warns that it is unsafe and blocks it. You could instead reduce the file size to less than 500kb by deleting other content, then attaching it to a post here.

Hum...
If i delete the upper part of the file (p1-p4) to decrease the file size, the new file seems to be correctly printed! There is the new file with my dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ghrp9fdl2j...bale.docx?dl=0 Therefore: is there one option to see the source of the word file as a webpage or a latex file to see the "code" and determine the origin of the issue... |

Your dropbox documents only contains two pages, which I have no trouble printing or copying.

Yes totally and the only thing i did is to delete the first pages.
The original one: https://www.dropbox.com/s/whkjpn0adn...bale.docx?dl=0 have the pages 5 and 7 with a lot of issue. (for example the pic and frame of Zorro and all the pictures of the p7) |

There does seem to be some form of corruption in the document. Saving it in RTF format or Word's DOC seems to fix that, but has other adverse effects on the content. You might be able to expedite the recovery process by copying as much as does copy correctly from your existing document to a new document, then copying the such of the remainder as is recovered when saved as an RTF/DOC file and pasting that into the new document as well. You'll still have some work to do, but this should save a lot of time.
Alternatively, though I wouldn't recommend it, you could persist with your current document, then save it as a PDF before printing. Saving as a PDF preserves all the content and allows the output to be printed correctly from the PDF.

Ok, thank...
But there is no sources of the document to understand the issue? |

As indicated previously, it appears to be some form of document corruption. Without spending a lot of time studying your document's xml code, no-one is likely to be in a position to give specific advice as to where the issue is and what else might be done about it.
