Default Picture formatting.

Having gone from XP to Windows 10 I am encountering some formatting problems.
On trying to correct a Word document done on XP, I want to move the picture to a new position. Under 'Layout' and 'Wrapping Styles' everything is greyed out and not available. Usually I can go to say 'square, tight, behind text' etc, usually choosing tight and I am then able to move the picture to where ever I choose. Now I am not able to do so.

Am I fighting a loosing battle, or is there an easy solution?

The operating system shouldn't make a difference. Can we assume that Office is activated and that you have selected the image?

Hi Graham.
Thanks for the reply. Yes, the image is selected and unable to be moved to a new position.Wrapping styles is greyed out and I cannot proceed any further. On using a Windows 10 Word document everything is fine and works well. I to doubt if it is the operating system as you thought, but I could not see what else it could be. Same computer. Gets darned frustrating I can tell you.
Cheers,
Les.
