![]() Hi all. I know this is basic ![]() OK, obviously I should use a footer. Set it to 'first page only' and design the content. If I try to insert an image in the dotted line footer box it appears ABOVE the box. A second and third image also appears above the box. I can align them neatly along the top of the box, but if I type any text in it, the box rises up, pushing the images up into the document body. OK, leave the images above an empty footer box. Put the address in it's text box above the images. This works, sort of. I seem to have a footer on the one page, but the body text now overwrites the new footer because it comes all the way down to the top of the footer box, which is at it's smallest. IYSWIM! Also the footer box is still taking up a little space pushing the images slightly higher than the bottom margin of the page. What next? Adjust the page margins? Won't it effect the entire document? As I said, this should be easy and is for those who do this often. Where am I going wrong please?. Mike. Last edited by cheesysocks; 02-19-2010 at 06:17 AM. Reason: Added text after IYSWIM and before What next. |
