Pictures in 2003-7 Word are left out using 2000 Word
I have many articles I wrote in Word 2003-7 that contained images and/or pictures. When I open them with Word 2000, even using compatibility mode, the images come up as empty boxes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Your profile indicates you're running Word 2000 on a Windows 8 OS. Word 2000 is not compatible with Windows 8. That may be behind the problem.

Sorry - My Mistake
Thank you for your reply so quickly. I am a novice and feel like a goose. I am actually using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. So Sorry.

Are you sure you don't have Word's 'Show picture placeholders' option checked? See unde File|Options|Advanced>Show document content.

Thank You
Thank you Paul. The problem's solved. Without your advice I wouldn't even have known these options existed.
