Background Image Opacity -- From Screen to Print NOT same?!
I'm using MS Word 2003 (it works for me; no reason to upgrade). I just applied SP3.
I'm trying to add a background clipart image behind my text on the first page. I've used clipart to add the image then set its layout for behind text. I then proceed to adjust the opacity of the image by setting the image control to Washout and adjusting the brightness to 94%. On-screen it looks fine however once printed the image appears a dark grey as if Word never bothered to adjust the preceivable opacity / washout-brightness. I've also tried using a background watermark (i only want the image on the first page but i'm getting desperate) but it too shows the background image with a much darker color than my screen. I've tried printing on both my Dell color laser and B&W laser printer. Same results. How do i add a background image and set its opacity level to be about 40% visible AND have it print the same way? Thanks |
