I am trying to change multiple (say 100 images) in a document so that they are all the same height and width, and it is surprisingly difficult to do this in any reasonable manner. Additionally, in this same file I also have images that I don't intend to resize, so I cant just blast out some macro that skips changes every image at the same time. These images, by the way, are screen shots that I have captured and copied into the document from OneNote.
I have tried a number of methods but nothing seems to accomplish the goal of changing the pictures quickly. My current thought is to paste the images into an excel document, copy the images from excel into word, and then hope that when I update the excel image the word file also updates. This is not working out. So I was hoping to have someone help me with a macro to resize the images to a certain width and height (say 5" wide by 3" tall). Preferably I could direct it to run on only the pictures I choose. Another, workable, solution would be to have a macro that makes all the images 3" tall with a locked aspect ratio. In the example file attached, the images would need to be sized so that the whole document is two pages long. Thanks! Fraser |
