Pasting Paint images into Word changed...
...and not for the better.
I've used Paint to edit screenshots for years and years. Within the past few weeks things changed - probably a software update. If I can't turn this off, I need to switch to something else. I used to be able to take a screen print, paste into Paint, and then crop the image and paste it back into Word. If I didn't save it, the image was editable within Word - right-click and you can set the image to wrap text however you want, etc. Give it borders. There was a whole right-click menu I relied on. Now you don't have the same right-click options, and if you click the image, it opens it up in Paint as a .bmp. This is NOT how I want to work with images. Is there a switch somewhere that I can turn off so I can go back to the way things were? Thanks |

Don't paste as paint object
Good evening,
Please verify when you paste your image that you paste it as metafile picture and not as Image PaintBrush Object. Regards Patrice |

Please also don't resurrect old threads. It's unlikely the issue is still 'live' so long after it was raised.
